As deadly flooding continues to spread sweeping devastation in Colorado, Tropical Storms Ingrid and Manuel batter Mexico while other weather disturbances are being closely monitored for further development in the days and weeks ahead. Your help is needed to assist ISOH/IMPACT’s ongoing relief efforts and to offer hope and healing to the countless families affected by disasters.
With nearly 20,000 homes being reported as damaged or destroyed in Colorado alone, you can help families whose lives have been thrown into chaos by making a monetary donation to ISOH/IMPACT’s disaster relief fund, donating bank or fuel gift cards, volunteering at the Waterville distribution center, or donating items needed for the Bucket Brigade including cleaning supplies, personal care items, first aid supplies, canned and non-perishable food items and pet supplies. ISOH/IMPACT also accepts other relief items such as paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, disposable tableware, laundry detergent, trash bags, new tents, tarps, brooms, mops, rakes, shovels, box fans, work gloves, shop vacs, generators. Especially needed are manual can openers, peanut butter, canned meats, canned fruits, laundry detergent, fabric softener sheets, sunscreen, all sizes of zipper bags and new 5-gallon buckets with lids. Visit www.isohimpact.org for all the details.
